I once saw a news report about the economy and a woman who after losing her job started searching for paid surveys. Turns out there are paying surveys out there that's not a scam. She didn't make a ton of money but i think she made around 200 dollars a week and 200 dollars a week is much better than zero dollars a week. If you want to search for paid surveys beware of the scams. Here are a few tips when looking for paid surveys:
- Never give money to get money (meaning if they ask for you to pay to take a survey chances are it's a scam)
- Always check the website to make sure it's legitimate (check out the source and location of the business by scrolling down to the very bottom of the page)
- Never give your info if they can't provide some of theirs ( meaning if there are no contact info displayed on the website such and phone number or email, its not recommended to give any of your information. You don't want anyone stealing your identity.
- And Lastly, don't fall for the old bait and switch (there are sites out there that ask you to pay for a "list of free surveys". I've tried those and from personal experience I just landed on another page that asked for the same thing.
Hopefully these tips were helpful to you. oh and here's another tip my Sister who works for Pepsi told me.. Do your survey search on Yahoo.com! She says that they are great at weeding out the illegitimate websites.
Good luck!
