Stacie Laurell

This post isn't anything professional. Sometimes i want to write my blog as if it's an online magazine, like Perez Hilton's blog or the Huffington's Post  but i've been so stressed out lately because of this depressing economy that i just want a place to vent and share my thoughts. I'm not sure anyone will read about my boring life or my "Journey to success". I dont even expect one person to read this. But i think i'm gonna just do things the nontraditional way and just write what i feel and share what i want....

I've made two more bracelets tonight for my store Stacie Laurell. Although i'm not making much sales i'm still trying to get my inventory up. Its so much fun making Jewelry. Its relaxing and you get a satisfaction in knowing that you made something out of nothing.  I hope people out there who are feeling really down and depressed like I am will find a Productive stress reliever. Anyways back to my jewelry... I made 2 european charm bracelets and i'm also working on Nursery Room decors. I love abstract art as well as art made to decorate nurseries and children's rooms. I use to draw years ago but it was never anything spectacular like a portrait or anything but i could usually look at a simple picture of a butterfly or flower and somewhat duplicate it.

Its so much prettier in person. I wish i was a photographer. I know a real photographer could show you the beauty of this drawing. I guess i will have to play around with my camera more. As mentioned earlier i also made a European (pandora like) charm bracelet take a look...

Pandora charm bracelets are gorgeous but also can be expensive!. I love making just as beautiful Pandora like charm bracelets for much less. Hopefully My European charm bracelets as well as my other collection of jewelry will become very popular.

expanding..

I've decided to add wall art to my Stacie Laurell collection on http://www.etsy.com/shop/STACIELAURELL?ref=si_shop. Drawing and coloring has always been my passion because i feel it one of THE GREATEST stress relievers. If the economy and lack of funds have gotten you do as it did to me i suggest you find a stress reliever and find it fast! people are dying rapidly from STRESS. Lets not forget that stress causes a slue of health problems including hypertension, heart disease and much more.  If you loved to color as a child chances are its still something you like to do. You may think it's childish but at least give it a try. You might find that it is very relaxing and that you maybe more talented than you think. if you can draw fairly decent perhaps you can gain profit from it and put a little more cash in your pockets!

Depressed in this economy

Today started out so depressing for me. I am continually making jewelry pieces to upload to my store but I've only made two sales. More sales would have to keep rolling in consistently for me to actually quit my job and run my own business. So that leaves me stuck in a job i hate.  I gave up looking for a caseworker Job in the foster care field. Although i have the experience i'm not getting any call backs. I've read up on people who have quit their job and dedicated their time to their own business. Many have said it was the scariest thing they've ever done but the best thing they've ever done. What do you think? is that something you would do? Some people have nothing to lose. I feel like i have nothing to lose but at the same time if I fail at my business i wont be able to pay for my jeep and i will lose it. On the other hand i want to take the leap. i'm unhappy and i have nothing so i might as well take the leap and just do it. It is very scary to quit and job and start your own business but again what have i got to lose?
